I heard rumors and want to confirm whether the ISB YLP is still running.

Yes, ISB discontinued the Young Leaders Programme (YLP) — the older deferred MBA pathway, in 2024. ISB no longer offers any deferred MBA option. The replacement is ISB PGP YL, a 20-month full-time residential MBA-equivalent program for candidates with up to 2 years of work experience, including final-year students. Unlike the old YLP (which was a deferred admission to the flagship PGP taken later after work experience), PGP YL is a standalone program that runs immediately after selection, it is not a deferred pathway. The inaugural PGP YL batch began in mid-2025 at ISB Hyderabad with the same faculty as the flagship PGP. Total program cost is ₹29.69 lakh including GST, with up to 100% merit scholarships available. PGP YL accepts GMAT, GRE, or CAT scores. For early-career candidates and final-year students targeting an ISB degree, PGP YL is now the only pathway without meeting the flagship PGP’s 2+ year experience requirement.
