What is PGP in ISB?
I want a clear understanding of what the PGP at ISB actually is — its structure, audience, and how it compares to traditional MBAs.
PGP in ISB refers to the Post Graduate Programme in Management, the flagship one-year full-time residential MBA-equivalent offered at ISB Hyderabad and Mohali campuses. The program is designed for candidates with at least 24 months of full-time work experience and averages 4–4.5 years of experience in the admitted class. Curriculum covers core management disciplines, strategy, finance, marketing, operations, analytics, in the first half, followed by electives and industry concentrations. Total program fee for 2026–27 is ₹49.91 lakh inclusive of GST. PGP accepts only GMAT and GRE scores (CAT is accepted only for the separate PGP YL program). Batch size is roughly 870 students. Placements for Class of 2024 averaged ₹34.21 LPA. ISB PGP is ranked #27 globally in FT Global MBA 2025, holds triple-crown accreditation (AMBA, EQUIS, AACSB), and is widely regarded as India’s top private MBA.
