ISB is a big investment. I want to know if it really delivers value in terms of ROI, career growth, and access to global roles.

Whether ISB is worth around ₹49.91 lakh depends on your starting point and post-MBA goals. The math: average PGP package of ₹34.21 LPA against total cost ₹49.91 lakh implies a tuition payback window of about 1.5–2 years. FT 2025 data placed ISB #2 globally in salary percentage increase at 247%, meaning pre-MBA salaries of ₹13–14 LPA typically jump to ₹34–35 LPA post-MBA. With scholarships (merit and need-based, ranging 25–100% of tuition), roughly one-third of the class reduces effective cost meaningfully. ISB is worth the fee for: ambitious mid-career switchers targeting consulting, tech product management, or strategy roles; candidates with 2–5 years of experience aiming for a one-year global-standard MBA; those who want access to a 19,000+ alumni network in 60+ countries. It is less worth it for: candidates unclear on post-MBA goals, those already earning ₹30+ LPA in stable roles, or those for whom the IIM PGP (₹26–28 lakh) is a viable alternative.
