I’m a fresher or student with no full-time work ex. Is there any way I can get into ISB, like through the YLP or another deferred pathway?

Yes, you can apply to ISB PGP YL. The PGP YL is specifically designed for fresh graduates and early career professionals with 0 to 24 months of full-time work experience as of June 15 in the year of joining. This means even candidates with no work experience are eligible to apply.

Eligibility requirements for ISB PGP YL include:

  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline (final-year students can also apply if they complete their degree by the specified date).

  • Valid GMAT, GRE, or CAT score (test center-based only).

  • No more than 24 months of full-time work experience as of the cutoff date.

Yes in the ISB PGP Yl 2 year program. The ISB PGP requires a minimum of 24 months of full-time work experience as of program start, so fresh graduates cannot apply directly. However, ISB has a dedicated pathway for early-career candidates: the PGP YL, a 20-month full-time residential MBA-equivalent program for applicants with up to 2 years of work experience, including final-year students who will complete their degree before the program begins. PGP YL replaced the older deferred YLP, which ISB discontinued in 2024. PGP YL accepts GMAT, GRE, or CAT, while the flagship PGP accepts only GMAT or GRE. The total program cost for PGP YL is ₹29.69 lakh including GST, with merit and need-based scholarships covering up to 100% of tuition for selected candidates. Full PGP YL eligibility, application process, and deadlines are at https://www.goalisb.com/isb-pgp-yl.
