I’d like to know if IIM Ahmedabad’s PGPX program accepts CAT scores, and if so, what the typical cut-off range looks like.

CAT is not accepted for IIM Ahmedabad PGPX — the program admits candidates based on GMAT or GRE scores only. PGPX is a one-year executive MBA for candidates with a minimum of 4 years of full-time work experience, and the standardised test requirement is GMAT (Classic or Focus Edition) or GRE, with scores no older than 5 years. The published GMAT cut-off for PGPX is approximately 720 on Classic (around 665 on Focus Edition), and the admitted class averages 697 on Classic. CAT-based admission applies only to IIMA’s two-year flagship MBA for Indian candidates, not to PGPX. If you are targeting PGPX, plan on GMAT or GRE preparation. Test-centre-based scores only, online or at-home GMAT/GRE scores are not accepted. Round 1 applications typically have higher success rates.
